Datos at sanggunian
Ang panahon ng kamatayan ay sumusunod sa life table ayon sa kasarian ng WHO Global Health Observatory, Life tables: nqx - probability of dying between ages x and x+n (LIFE_0000000030) (2023).
- psa.gov.ph pages and PDFs return HTTP 403 (Cloudflare bot check) to automated fetches. PSA figures were taken from PSA's own OpenSTAT PXWeb API (openstat.psa.gov.ph) wherever possible, and otherwise from news reports citing PSA (marked in each field).
- life_expectancy and life_table_qx both come from WHO GHO (2023) so they are consistent with each other. UN WPP-based World Bank values for 2024 are male 66.99 / female 72.96.
- Infant and under-5 mortality (2024) and maternal mortality (2023) are UN inter-agency modeled estimates via the World Bank. PSA registered infant and maternal deaths are under-registered.
- regions: 18 regions are listed because the Negros Island Region (NIR) was re-created in 2024, so the requested 17-region list no longer matches PSA's current structure. Each item also has births, population_2024, urban_share (2024 POPCEN) and poverty_incidence (2023).
- median_age_first_marriage_male is old (2003 NDHS). See the field note for a 2024 proxy computed from PSA marriage registrations.
- ofw_top_destinations: only the Saudi Arabia and UAE shares were verified on a fetched page. A 2025 SOF preliminary release (Oct 2026) reportedly gives 2.05 million OFWs for Apr-Sep 2025, but it could not be read, so the 2024 values are used.
- Education completion rates are UNESCO UIS household-survey cohort completion rates (2022), not DepEd administrative completion rates. DepEd/CHED figures could not be retrieved.
- smoking_prevalence_adult is current tobacco use (WHO modeled estimate, ages 15+), not cigarette smoking only. hypertension_prevalence_adult is WHO's 2019 age-standardized estimate for ages 30-79, the latest WHO estimate available.
- dengue_cases_per_year is a DOH surveillance count reported in the news, and DOH comparisons for 2025 are inconsistent (see field note).
- Derived values (computed here from published counts): sex_ratio_at_birth, sector_shares, regional shares, cause-of-death shares, and the marriage-age proxy in the field note.
- No field is null.
